AGM Apps ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Memoodle mobile game (the "App"), a memory game for Android in which you study a map for a few seconds and then redraw it from memory to be scored on accuracy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.
The short version: AGM Apps itself does not collect, store, or transmit your personal information. There are no AGM Apps accounts or sign-ups, and we operate no game-data server. Your profiles, scores, and settings are stored locally and may be included in Android's private backup or device-transfer system. The App shows advertising through Google AdMob, which automatically processes limited device and usage data to serve, measure, and protect ads, as described below.
We, AGM Apps, collect no personal information through an AGM Apps account or server. We operate no game-data server and receive no profiles, drawings, or scores from the App. Specifically, the App does not:
The important third-party exception is stated plainly: the App uses Google AdMob. Google's Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares limited data such as IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. AGM Apps does not receive your local game profiles, drawings, or scores through AdMob. See Section 5.
The App starts with a default "Guest" profile, and you can optionally create additional local player profiles with a display name (for example, a first name or nickname). These are local game profiles only — there is no login, password, or account system. Any name you enter is your choice and is used only to label scores inside the App. It is stored in the App's local preferences and may be carried to another device by Android backup or device transfer, but it is never sent to an AGM Apps server. See Sections 3 and 4.
The App saves a small amount of game data locally on your device using Android's standard local app storage (SharedPreferences). The App does not send this game data to AGM Apps; Android may include it in backup or device transfer as described in Section 4. It consists only of:
This information is stored so the game remembers your profiles, scores, settings, and ad-gameplay state between sessions. Clearing the App's storage or deleting the App removes the local copy from that device. A copy previously made by Android's backup service may remain in your private Google Account backup until it is replaced or removed under Google's backup policies.
Memoodle does not provide its own account or live cloud-sync service. However, Android may automatically include the local preferences described in Section 3 in your device backup or transfer them when you set up another Android device. When Google's default backup service is used, this backup is stored in a private area associated with your Google Account and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and your Android backup settings.
The App uses Google AdMob to show adaptive banner ads outside active gameplay, full-screen ads at natural transitions between games, and optional rewarded ads that you may choose to watch to refill in-game Peeks.
According to Google's Mobile Ads SDK disclosure, the SDK automatically collects and shares IP address (which may indicate general location), app interactions such as launches, taps, and video views, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Data sent by the SDK is encrypted in transit. AGM Apps does not receive your local profiles, drawings, or scores through this service.
Where required, including in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Google's User Messaging Platform presents consent choices before the App requests ads. Depending on your choices and applicable law, Google may serve personalised, non-personalised, limited, or technical ads. You can reset or delete your Android advertising ID in Android Settings under Privacy/Ads (the exact menu varies by device). No separate third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or social SDK is included.
Memorizing maps, drawing, scoring, and saving progress locally do not require an internet connection. A connection is used to request consent information and advertising from Google, to watch an optional rewarded ad, and to open external links such as this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use. When a scheduled ad break is due, a connection may be required before starting another game.
AGM Apps does not knowingly collect personal information from children through an AGM Apps account or server, because the App has neither. A profile name remains in local app storage and may be handled by Android backup as described in Section 4. Google may process limited ad-related data as described in Section 5 under Google's policies and applicable age-treatment requirements. Local profiles, scores, and settings are protected by Android's app sandbox and your device's security. Android backups are protected through the platform's backup system, and Google states that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit. AGM Apps operates no account database or game-data server that stores your profiles, drawings, or scores.
Because AGM Apps holds no profile or score data on its own server, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. Data processed by Google is handled under Google's privacy controls and policies.
The App is available worldwide. AGM Apps does not sell personal information and does not operate a server containing your profiles, drawings, or scores. Google may process ad-related data as described in Section 5 and Android may process backup data as described in Section 4. Rights and controls relating to data held by those services are governed by their respective policies and applicable law. You may contact us with any request concerning information you believe AGM Apps holds.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if a future version changes its advertising, backup, or other third-party services. When we make changes, the "Last Updated" date above will be revised, and significant changes will be communicated through an App update. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
