AGM Apps ("we," "our," or "us") operates Weekmarks (the "App") for Android. Weekmarks is a local-first life calendar and memory bookmarker: it maps your life as a grid of weeks from a birthday and horizon you enter, lets you leave captions, moods, tags, people, milestones, and photo bookmarks on individual weeks, and shows Perspective cards about time still ahead.
The short version: everything you enter in Weekmarks stays on your device. There are no accounts, no Weekmarks memory server, and no cloud sync operated by AGM Apps. We could not look up your birthday, captions, or photo bookmarks if we wanted to. The only third party involved in ordinary use is Google, which serves the advertising that keeps the App free — described in Section 5.
All of the following is written to private app storage on your device. It is never uploaded, synced, or seen by AGM Apps.
You can bookmark photos onto a week using Android's system Photo Picker and/or the document picker (Files, Google Drive, and similar providers). How this works:
Perspective cards can hold figures about Sundays, summers, books, full moons, leap years, visits with a loved one, or a "kid window" before age 18. Some cards can store a person's name, their date of birth, how often you see them, and a horizon you assign to them.
If you add the Weekmarks home-screen widget, a small on-device projection (birthday, horizon, theme accent, and whether the current week is marked) is shared with the widget. Captions, tags, people, and photos are not copied into the widget summary.
Weekmarks does not ask for and does not collect: your name, email address, or phone number; your location; your contacts; your camera; your health or fitness sensor data; any government or financial identifier; or any biometric information.
Permissions it may request: Internet (for ads and consent), the advertising ID permission used by Google's ads SDK, and notification permission when you enable the weekly check-in (Android 13+).
On-device figures such as estimated heartbeats or breaths are arithmetic estimates from age. They are not Health Connect readings and are not based on any sensor or health record.
You can export a metadata file and later import it (merge or replace). Export files contain your profile and memory details and photo identifiers — not the pictures themselves. A file leaves the App only when you choose where to save or share it. After a restore or if you move between Android and iPhone, photo links may need to be reconnected. Treat export files as private.
Weekmarks can render a Perspective card or a life-map image that you may share through Android's share sheet. Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it. The image does not pass through AGM Apps. If a card includes another person's name or birth date, that information travels with the image to wherever you send it.
Resetting Weekmarks inside Settings removes the local profile, Weekmarks, photo links, milestones, Perspective entries, theme unlocks, reminder settings, and widget summary, and releases photo URI grants the App held. It does not delete original photos from your library or Files. Uninstalling or clearing app data removes the App's private storage. Copies already retained by an operating-system backup or a user-created export follow that system or location's own deletion rules.
Weekmarks is free and supported by advertising served through Google AdMob (banner, occasional full-screen / interstitial, and optional rewarded ads used to unlock themes). Watching a rewarded ad is always optional. There are no in-app purchases in this version. Mediation through additional ad networks is not included in this version.
To serve and measure ads, Google may process:
Nothing from inside your memories is shared with Google. Your birthday, captions, tags, people, milestones, and photo bookmarks are never sent in ad requests.
AGM Apps never sees this advertising data either. It travels from your device to Google. We receive aggregate earnings figures with nothing about any individual in them.

If you turn on the weekly check-in, Weekmarks schedules a local notification for the weekday and time you choose. These are not remote push notifications from AGM Apps: there is no server sending them. On Android, the system may deliver the reminder a little later than the exact time you picked, to protect battery life. Turn them off in the App or in Android notification settings at any time.
Weekmarks contains no first-party analytics SDK, no Crashlytics / Firebase crash-reporting SDK, and no attribution SDK operated by AGM Apps. Google's advertising component is the third-party code involved in ordinary use, and it may process diagnostics as described in Section 5.
Everything you enter in Weekmarks stays on your device — we operate no server that receives it, and we hold no account for you. The only place a third party is involved in ordinary use is advertising, described in Section 5.
For users in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, AGM Apps (established in the State of Florida, United States) is the controller for advertising-related processing. Personalized advertising relies on your consent under Article 6(1)(a), collected through the Google consent form where required and withdrawable at any time. Non-personalized advertising, which is what keeps the app free, relies on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f); you may object at any time.
Retention: your entries stay on your device until you delete them, clear the app's data, or uninstall — we set no expiry and hold no copy. Google retains advertising data under its own published schedule. Where advertising data is processed in the United States, the transfer relies on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions, or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — the EDPB directory in the EEA, the ICO in the UK, or the FDPIC in Switzerland. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws have equivalent rights to know, delete, correct, port, and opt out of targeted advertising, plus the right to appeal a refusal and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
Because there are no accounts and we hold nothing tied to your identity, we will usually be unable to identify you. Practically: you can exercise access, correction, and deletion yourself inside the App — everything is visible, editable, and deletable, and clearing app data or uninstalling erases the local store.
We have never sold personal information for money. When personalized advertising is on, Google may receive your Advertising ID and IP address and use them to target ads in other apps. California law calls that "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising; several other states call it "targeted advertising" or a "sale."
You can stop it at any time, free: in Android Settings, delete or reset your advertising ID; where a consent form is shown in your region, withdraw consent; or email "Do Not Sell or Share" to [email protected]. We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.
Opt-out preference signals. Where these pages are read in a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing for that browser. Android does not send GPC to apps, so the device-level Advertising ID control above is the in-app equivalent — deleting or resetting that identifier, or withdrawing consent, is treated as a valid opt-out signal.
To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We will acknowledge within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. Because there are no accounts and we hold nothing tied to your name, we will often be unable to link any record to you — the fastest and most complete remedy is in your own hands: clear the app's data in Android Settings, or uninstall.
Weekmarks is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will address it. Because everything is stored on the device and we hold no accounts, the fastest and most complete remedy is to clear app data or uninstall.
A note for parents using the "kid window" card. That card is designed for a parent to record their own child's first name and birth date, on their own device. That information never leaves the device and is never sent to us or to any advertiser.
The App's "horizon" is a user-adjustable population average used purely for reflection. It is an estimate for perspective — never a prediction, and never medical advice. Weekmarks does not know your personal circumstances and should not be used as a basis for any health or life decision.
If thinking about time this way is distressing rather than motivating, please stop using the App. If you are struggling, talk to someone you trust or a qualified professional. In the United States you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline; elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists local services.
Because the information you enter is stored only on your device, it is protected by Android's built-in security, including the App's sandboxed storage and your device's encryption. There is no server, database, or cloud account on our side that could be breached.
Because there are no accounts and nothing you enter reaches our servers, a compromise of our systems could not expose your Weekmarks content. If we nonetheless become aware of an incident affecting personal information under our control, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours where the GDPR or UK GDPR requires it, notify affected individuals without undue delay where the law requires it, and publish a notice at agmapps.net and in the App. We hold no contact details for you, so publication is how you would be told.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new last-updated date. If a change materially reduces your privacy, we will describe what changed on this page and, where practical, notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
