Weekmarks  ·  Effective Date: August 25, 2026 Last Updated: August 26, 2026

1. Overview

AGM Apps ("we," "our," or "us") makes Weekmarks (the "App") for iPhone and iPad. Weekmarks is a local-first life calendar and memory bookmarker: it maps your life as a grid of weeks from a birthday and horizon you enter, lets you leave captions, moods, tags, people, milestones, and photo bookmarks on individual weeks, and shows Perspective cards about time still ahead.

The short version: everything you enter stays on your iPhone or iPad. There are no accounts, no Weekmarks memory server, and no cloud sync operated by AGM Apps. We could not look up your birthday, captions, or photo bookmarks if we wanted to. The only third party involved in ordinary use is Google, which serves the advertising that keeps the App free — described in Section 5.

2. What You Enter, and Where It Stays

Weekmarks asks for a small amount of genuinely personal information, because the product depends on it. All of it is written to private app storage on your device, not to us.

2.1 Profile and Life Map

2.2 Weekmarks (Memories)

When you mark a week, the App may store:

That content stays on your device. It is never uploaded to AGM Apps.

2.3 Photo Bookmarks

You can bookmark photos from Apple Photos onto a week. How this works matters:

2.4 Perspective Cards and Other People

Perspective cards can hold figures about Sundays, summers, books, full moons, leap years, visits with a loved one, or a "kid window" before age 18. Some cards can store a person's name, their date of birth, how often you see them, and a horizon you assign to them.

2.5 Widget Summary

If you add the Weekmarks home-screen widget, a small projection (birthday, horizon, theme accent, and whether the current week is marked) is shared with the widget through an App Group on your device. Captions, tags, people, and photos are not copied into the widget summary.

2.6 What We Never Collect

Weekmarks does not ask for and does not collect: your name, email address, or phone number; your location; your contacts; your entire photo library as a bulk upload; your health or fitness sensor data; any government or financial identifier; or any biometric information. The App requests no location permission, no contacts permission, and no camera permission.

Permissions it may request, only when you use the related feature: Photos access (when bookmarking photos), local notifications (when enabling the weekly check-in), and — for users 18 and older — App Tracking Transparency for advertising personalization.

On-device figures such as estimated heartbeats or breaths are arithmetic estimates from age. They are not HealthKit readings and are not based on any sensor or health record.

3. No Account, No AGM Cloud Sync

4. Export, Import, Sharing, and Reset

4.1 Metadata Export and Import

You can export a metadata file and later import it (merge or replace). Export files contain your profile and memory details and photo identifiers — not the pictures themselves. A file leaves the App only when you choose where to save or share it. After a restore or if you move between iPhone and Android, photo links may need to be reconnected. Treat export files as private.

4.2 Share Cards

Weekmarks can render a Perspective card or a life-map image that you may share through the iOS share sheet. Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it. The image does not pass through AGM Apps. If a card includes another person's name or birth date, that information travels with the image to wherever you send it.

4.3 Reset and Deletion

Resetting Weekmarks inside Settings removes the local profile, Weekmarks, photo links, milestones, Perspective entries, theme unlocks, reminder settings, and widget summary from the App. It does not delete anything from Apple Photos. Uninstalling the App removes the App's private storage. Copies already retained by an operating-system backup or a user-created export follow that system or location's own deletion rules.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Weekmarks is free and supported by advertising served through Google AdMob (banner, occasional full-screen / interstitial, and optional rewarded ads used to unlock themes). Watching a rewarded ad is always optional. There are no in-app purchases in this version. Mediation through additional ad networks is not included in this version.

To serve and measure ads, Google may process:

Nothing from inside your memories is shared with Google. Your birthday, captions, tags, people, milestones, and photo bookmarks are never sent in ad requests.

AGM Apps never sees this advertising data either. It travels from your device to Google. We receive aggregate earnings figures with nothing about any individual in them.

5.1 Your Choices

Google's practices are described in How Google uses information and the Google Privacy Policy.

The advertising component may begin loading as the App starts, which can involve a network request to Google before you finish answering consent prompts. Your answers govern whether advertising is personalized and whether your IDFA is shared.

6. Reminders

If you turn on the weekly check-in, Weekmarks schedules a local notification for the weekday and time you choose. These are not push notifications: there is no server sending them and no device token registered with Apple's push service. Turn them off in the App or in iOS Settings → Notifications → Weekmarks.

7. Analytics and First-Party Tracking

Weekmarks contains no first-party analytics SDK, no Crashlytics / Firebase crash-reporting SDK, and no attribution SDK operated by AGM Apps. We do not know how many screens you opened or which memories you wrote. Google's advertising component is the third-party code involved in ordinary use, and it may process diagnostics as described in Section 5.

8. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, and U.S. State Laws)

Privacy law gives you rights over personal data a company holds about you. In our case the honest answer is short: we hold none of your Weekmarks content. There is no account, no server, and no copy of your grid anywhere but your own device. The only processing that touches a third party in ordinary use is advertising.

8.1 Controller, Legal Basis, and Retention

AGM Apps, established in the State of Florida, United States, is the controller for the limited advertising-related processing described in Section 5. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to under Article 37 GDPR. For the data on your device, you are in control and we are neither controller nor processor — we have no technical means of reaching it.

Retention: your entries stay on your device until you delete them, reset the App, or uninstall — we set no expiry and hold no copy. Google retains advertising data under its own published schedule.

8.2 International Transfers

We transfer nothing ourselves, because we receive nothing. Where Google processes advertising data in the United States, that transfer relies on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as set out in Google's own terms.

8.3 Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — the EDPB directory in the EEA, the ICO in the UK, or the FDPIC in Switzerland. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws have equivalent rights to know, delete, correct, port, and opt out of targeted advertising, plus the right to appeal a refusal and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

Because there are no accounts and we hold nothing tied to your identity, we will usually be unable to identify you within the meaning of Article 11(2) GDPR. Practically: you can exercise access, correction, and deletion yourself inside the App — everything is visible, editable, and deletable, and removing the App erases the local store.

8.4 "Sale" and "Sharing" for Targeted Advertising

We have never sold personal information for money. When personalized advertising is on, Google may receive your IDFA and IP address and use them to target ads in other apps. California law calls that "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising; several other states call it "targeted advertising" or a "sale." Nothing you typed into Weekmarks is part of that — only the advertising identifiers described in Section 5.

To stop it, free, at any time: decline App Tracking Transparency, or turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You may also email "Do Not Sell or Share" to [email protected]. We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.

Opt-out preference signals. Where these pages are read in a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing for that browser. iOS does not send GPC to apps, so inside the App the equivalent is App Tracking Transparency — declining that prompt is treated as a valid opt-out signal.

To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We will acknowledge within 10 business days and respond within 45 days.

9. Children

Weekmarks is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the App is not offered in the Apple Kids Category. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, email [email protected] with the subject line "Child Privacy Request." Because everything is stored on the device and we hold no accounts, the fastest and most complete remedy is to delete the App.

A note for parents using the "kid window" card. That card is designed for a parent to record their own child's first name and birth date, on their own device, to see how many weeks remain before the child grows up. That information never leaves the device and is never sent to us or to any advertiser. Please record only what you need, and remember that if you share a card containing it, the information goes wherever you send it.

10. A Word About What This App Shows You

Weekmarks draws a grid from a birth date and a number you chose. It is not a life-expectancy prediction, a medical or actuarial estimate, or any kind of health assessment, and it is not based on anything about your health, because we do not know anything about your health. It is arithmetic on your own assumption, presented as a picture.

If thinking about time this way is distressing rather than motivating, please stop using the App. If you are struggling, talk to someone you trust or a qualified professional. In the United States you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline; elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists local services.

11. Security

Your entries sit inside the App's private storage area, protected by iOS full-device encryption whenever your iPhone or iPad has a passcode set. We rely on the operating system for this rather than adding our own encryption layer. Because nothing is transmitted to us, there is no server of ours that could be breached and no database of users to expose.

12. Security Incidents

Because there are no accounts and nothing you enter reaches our servers, a compromise of our systems could not expose your Weekmarks content. If we nonetheless become aware of an incident affecting personal information under our control, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours where the GDPR or UK GDPR requires it, notify affected individuals without undue delay where the law requires it, and publish a notice at agmapps.net and in the App. We hold no contact details for you, so publication is how you would be told.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy — for example if a future version adds sync or changes how advertising works. When we do, the "Last Updated" date at the top changes. If a change materially reduces your privacy, we will describe what changed on this page and, where practical, notify you in the App. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
